Downhill Pale Ale is our take on a classic American Pale Ale. Caramel malts and American hops infuse this deep-amber brew with notes of orange, wild honey and tropical fruit. A crisp, refreshing finish will leave you anticipating the next sip! Relax. It's all Downhill from here.

Pours a lightly hazy amber colour with a frothy light-beige head, great retention and thick, creamy, patchy lacing. The fruity malts with some metallic notes seems like smelling wet socks. Alright, might be like wet hay from the grain with the hops. The taste is much better thankfully. Fruity malts, mild grassy hops with a nice mild dry finish. Light grain lingers. Other than the aromas, a pretty nice Pale Ale.

Pours a huge frothy off-white head and has a fairly clear amber appearance. Excessive carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aromas of caramel, toasty malts and earthy hops. Flavours are mostly earthy and herbal hops, hints of caramel, toffee. Has quite a bit of bitterness on the palate, more so than an IPA it would seem. A nice little pale ale with a bit more punch than usual.

The beer pours a hazed golden red with a generous off-white bubbly cap that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is caramel, honey, grains, and weak citrus. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. While the honey is quite pronounced in the aroma, it is almost non-existant in the flavour. The flavour is dominated by caramel and grapefruit notes, and not really in a good way.
