Slightly hazy, brown colour with ruby-copper highlights. The head is big, frothy, lightly creamy, lightly beige with good retention and webby lacing. Sweet nose of maple syrup, chocolate malts and a touch of coffee. The mouthfeel is slick and oily. A tad dryness come in the end. The coffee is mild in the taste as well with the maple notes being there, but the chocolate malts balancing things. Not a bad twist on their regular Stranger Than Fiction Porter.

The beer pours a solid coca-cola colour with a creamy brown head which leaves a little lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolale, and a hint of maple sugar. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the dark chocolate notes with coffee in a backup role and maple in the finish.
