Pours a dark honey-golden with a fairly thick pale tan head. Strong aroma is quite hoppy, more at an IPA, with a malty and slightly fruity-sweet underpinning. Malty flavor has a firm hoppy note and a hint of apple. Nothing really special, but potable. Texture is smooth, with average fizz and viscosity. OK, nothing to tweet to all your friends, but a passable brew to sip with dinner or while watching a game.
