Our Helles has a sweet malt expression that is balanced by floral bitterness from the use of German Hallertaur Mittelfruh hops. A very refreshing beer that will also entice you by its subtle complexity and drinkability.

Big thanks to markwise for shipping us this 32oz swing top growler that arrived in perfect shape. It pours near hazy gold with off white head. The aroma delivers some what wheat like notes as well as esters of soft apples and peaches followed by slight malt graininess in the background. The taste is refreshingly yummy with some sweetness being filled in quickly by a fresh light wheat note followed by some fruity esters like apples and peaches and then a light sense of fresh grainy maltiness. This is just yum and refreshing and oddly nourishing all at the same time and makes me want to drink a ton of it. Well done Helles that steers clear of the trouble areas for me for this style. Nice one Ben!!!

A bright sunshine colored beer wuth a big fluffy textured whute head rising above. There's some hang time. But there's no lacing. Nuce wheat nose. More wheat and banana with some lighter grassiness in the tasting. Light, crisp, effervescent and drinkable.

Well....this is a tough one to review. This is a weaker style to me, made for "hotter than helles" summer days in Florida. Very drinkable though with some decent flavor, mainly wheat and banana with some mild hop. Hard to say, but actually taste like some corn in there too :(. Not one of the better ones from CCB. Aroma is kind of skunky which brings down the rating some. Glad I finally got to try this, as was curious about it. A good beer....but not great by any means.
