This ale is a black color with red around the edges and pours with a thick tan head that sticks. The aroma and flavor of this 7 percent alcohol by volume brew is punctuated by the 69 IBU produced by the Chinook, Amarillo and Citra hops. The dark malt adds a roasted character to the finish and helps balance out the overall flavor profile

Only available in 650ml bottles, this is one not to miss. The beer pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a 1" light brown bubbly head. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee....not much in the way of hops. The flavour is dark malt, some caramel, and coffee. Again, no hoppish tones. Tasty though, very tasty.
