Sturdy, medium bodied and delicious, this brew shares the rich copper hue of the fly it is named for. A light charge of caramel malt, which creates the color, is complemented by a blend of American hops that add spice and citrus character. The finish may be in the hops, but you won't forget the subtle toasty character of the malt. Copper John Pale Ale is perfect for relaxing after a day of fishing on the Chama.

Tap at the Chama River brew pub, Albuquerque. Copper coloured with a nice white creamy head. Hops, spices citrus and malts in the aroma. Similar for the taste with some pine flavours evident. Very drinkable, very nice.
