I’ve always loved rye beers, so much that I probably wouldn’t know a bad one if I tasted it. Thankfully, this is a good one. The beer pours a clear orange hued copper colour with a thin off-white head. Rye is prevalent in the aroma, but also some caramel and floral hops. The flavour is spicy rye, with hints of caramel and light fruit (apple maybe).

The beer poured a translucent dark red with a thin white head. The aroma was muted grains, and some floral hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is grainy malt, some hoppish notes, and a sweet hint. -

Very quaffable as something slightly different. The rye taste is well defined but smooth. Pours an attractive colour with good retention. Flavour is simple but honest. This is a beer Id love to have again. Not nearly as pronouced as many other rye beers, but this does lend to it a nice texture. A very likeable beer.
