A light bodied, easy drinking ale with a pleasantly dry finish. Toasted Munich malt gives this beer both it's colour and malty flavour that is balanced with subtle hop aromatics. Pairs with: BBQ classics, pork dishes, fruit salad, caramel pecan pie.

Clear copper colour pour with very little head and no lacing. This is just an average beer to say the least. Subdued aroma and flavour of caramel malt.

Single tallboy from the Beer Store. Pours a good size frothy off-white head but doesn't stick around very long. Has pretty thick lacing all around. Has an amber coppery appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of light roasted malt, earthy and herbal hops. Flavours are malty, cereal malts, some earthy hops, toffee and caramel notes. Somewhat sweet at first. A bit of bitterness in the finish. Not too bad. Prefer their IPA

Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber colour with an off-white head that is small, with average stay and some decent lacing. Aromas of toasted malt and bread with hints of the farm (wet hay). The taste is a little more balanced with the caramel malts, fruitiness and a little hop, which is fine for the style. Refreshing amber ale, but not the best out there.

Had a complementary can at a friend's birthday do. Drank straight from the can so I can't testify as to the appearance. Okay aroma, but subdued. Flavour typical for an amber, and pretty basic mouthfeel. Bland finish. this was the usual Central City everyday offering = nothing special; basically an up-priced swill. I'd rather have an Old Style.
