Pogo Red is a well balanced red ale that combines a subtly complex malt profile with a fruity aroma that has notes of orange and pear. Special Munichtype malts lend a reddish hue and toasty and bready malt character without caramel sweetness. Calypso and Mosaic hops contribute notes of orange, pear and pine without excessive bitterness or overpowering the malt. This beer finishes clean and slightly dry to enhance it’s exceptional balance. Pair with sharp cheeses, burgers, or another Pogo Red.
