Our flagship, this beer defines the classic, American-Style Pale Ale. We looked to the Pacific Northwest, rather than England, for our inspiration and our ingredients. Utilizing malt, hops, water, and most importantly yeast from the USA allowed us to create a balanced, highly drinkable beer. It's no accident that the Carrabassett Pale Ale is our top-selling beer, year after year.

Pours orangish amber with a head that dissipates quickly. OK lacing. Aroma is faint. Mouthfeel decent. Flavor is citrus and hops, citrus and hops and a smidge of malt.

Pours a clear orange with a nice white head. Aroma is average with a nice floral undertone. Flavor is good, but pretty tame. Definitely no chances taken on this one, good, but unimpressive.

Bottle. Poured a clear, light-brown (almost orange) color with a thick, white head. Strong lacing. Light, hoppy aroma. Decent mouthfeel. Bitter flavor, although not too strong. Nothing great, but not bad.

Medium amber color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and citrusy. A medium bodied pale ale. Lightly malty with a slightly grassy hoppyness. Mild taste and not very hoppy. Flavors are citrus and toffee. Nice easy drinking pale ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours with an amber-orange body topped by a thick white quickly disappearing head with a decent amount of lace. Slightly sweet and citrusy hop aroma well balanced with malt. Not a ton of hops in the aroma but more so than malt. Sweet and slightly citrusy hop flavor with good malty notes and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium Bodied and smooth with a touch of dryness.
