What an awesome porter. Thanks to Brando for bringing this gem back. Cocoa, coffee and burnt toast and smoke on the nose. Equal in flavour also. Toasty and chocolatey with some breadiness on the palate. Beautiful colour, kind of muddy and monkey like with some shit floating around. Great beer overall. Non stop beauty from all these awesome beers.

it is strong on the roasted coffee, more in the flavor than on the nose, which is too bad...that's a great smell. not as good as Rogue Mocha or Pipeline, but pretty solid.

coffee hits me like a smack to yo monkey face along with a lot of roasted chocolate flavor. Good balance, not so much sweet. Medium bodied, full flavored, its crisp and suprisingly refreshing. Good simple and bold flavors

Pours black with a nice tan head but no lace. Scent is chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is molases, floral hops, and a touch of chocolate. Not bad at all. Palate is crisp and cleansing; there’s a bit more carbonation than in most Porters. Overall, it’s pretty good and worth trying. Definately better than average.

Dark black color, medium head. A full-bodied porter. Roasted malts, slightly sweet and chocolaty. Hops are slightly spicy. Full flavored. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice beer.

The beer is a nice dark brown colour, almost black like a stout.Smallish "coffee n’creme" coloured head. The aroma is of slightly burnt malts, some dark chocolate..and a faint whiff of coffee. I was surprised that this beer had a smokey aspect to the taste, and a dry finish. In between are hints of black coffee and a slight taste of chocolate. The mouthfeel is slightly on the thin side but overall not bad. I liked this porter..the smokey aspect was great. Like other Cascade lakes beers..this doesn’t seem to do well in bottle..or maybe they have to be drank very fresh
