I’m getting more of a spruce sap-type aroma more than a citrus hop aroma, but whatever. This is quite hoppy for an APA in aroma and flavor. In fact, it verges on being an IPA instead of an APA. The body is fairly light, despite a nice caramel and wood maltiness.

Actually I bought this one so I could give my son the empty bottle for his new bar. He lives in Columbus Ohio where anything "buckeye" is considered to be a religious icon. I drank the beer, he get the bottle. The beer? Light, average, went down easy and nothing to write home about. The bottle was neat though...
