Can@SBWF2010. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some berries and mild floral hops. Flavour is malty, floral and mild toffeeish and wooden notes as well. Quite mouthdrying palate.

This poured a murky copper color with a beige head. The aroma is yeasty uh oh.....with some caramel and dark fruit. The flavor is quite malty with some caramel, toffee, and a bit of citrus. Overall your standard *yawn* Amber Ale.

Sampled on 7/17/2010. This amber ale pours a reddish amber color from a 16oz can. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and a touch citrusy. A fairly flavorful amber. Nice carbonation. A touch of tartness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

found this one on tap at Nu Yalk Pizza. A pleasant surprise, and so far Buckbean's best offering. Pours a dark red in color with some off white head, good retention and a well balanced aroma of caramel malt and lively hops. the taste is more caramel malt (ala Tahoe Red) but with a fairly pleasant bitter dry finish. kind of a hybrid amber ale/irish red.
