Double Decker Porter was brewed in honor of our busing brothers across the pond. The beer has a silky chocolate character, which is balanced with British East Kent Golding and German Magnum hops. Combine that dark brown pour, velvety tan head, and decadent malt character, and you’ll find yourself doubling up on this brew for twice the enjoyment.

Pours out a deep dark brown that has a red hue when I shine a light through it. The aroma is mild with just a hint of hop. The mouthfeel is good thicker than most Porters. The taste is okay not very pronounced in any one thing. Reminds me of Founders Breakfast stout.

Sampled a single courtesy of neighbor. I guess Brew Bus started distribution on their porter recently. Been looking for a new local porter that I can bring home in 6-packs. This will probably be a new staple. Nice rich chocolate content, with just enough hops, but hopped up like an American porter... which seems to be the new trend. Lighter on the carbonation to resemble the English porter feel. This is pretty close to one of my favorite US porters by Anchor.

A black colored beer with a moderate sized brown, frothy textured head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A big, thick ringlet is left. Roasty malt and chocolate in the nose. Bitter chocolate, smoky, roasted malt. Full bodied and creamy.
