Pours a dark brown colour with a creamy-frothy beige head, great retention and some nice lacing. Aromas of the hop with roasted malt, notes of coffee and cocoa. The taste shows the same but with lots of yeast it seems. Decent mild bitterness in the finish with light sugars and molasses. Pretty smooth mouthfeel overall. Just lacking a little balance for this style.
