Palomino Pale Ale is our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale. We brew this beer using only the finest American barley and hops and add even more hops as it ages to give it a great balanced citrusy taste and aroma. 22oz bottle -

Aroma - lemon rind, pine sap with some fresh bread dough

Appearance - bright gold body, super clear, fluffy off-white 2-finger head

Mouthfeel - medium bodied, feels heavier than a regular APA somehow

Flavor - malt forward APA, some piney hops to help this from being overly sweet, a touch of mineral water. Clean, quick finish.

Overall - Reminds me in many ways of SNPA on tap. A little malty, but no flaws and drinkable. Nicely priced too.

Re-rate. Tastes a couple of other APAs and realized I needed to change this rating.

This American Pale Ale pours a medium brown color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet, with a touch of fruitiness. A medium to light bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are kind of mild, sort floral, citrusy and earthy. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. The hop profile is very weak for a Pale Ale. It’s a tasty amber or altbier but a little mild for an APA. I mean there is hardly any hops at all. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
