My first beer from the Blue Heron brewery (thinking it's the CW folks??)- pours a bright reddish amber with some decent froth. Pretty nice retention in the head, leaving behind some sticky lacing. Aroma is pleasent with some noticeably rye, smoke and berry fruits. Taste has a chewy, earth quality to it. A little drier then i expected.
