The sister of Bièropholie IPA. For fun, we have separate a little quantity (15%) of the wort from the IPA and we used only Cascade hop in each steps. In these 5 steps where we add hops, we used the same quantity in IBU. After, we did the same thing with the Bièropholie Golding and Golding hop. So the Bièropholie IPA, Golding and Cascade are the same beer. Only the hops are changed. Available since april 2005

Second beer of my IPA night. Purchased at Dépanneur de la Rive in Cap-Rouge, Quebec. Pours an amber colour with a medium head that leaves good lace. The nose is caramel, nut and hop. Medium bodied mouthfeel. The taste is a mix of the caramel malt and the hop. Nice bitterness throughout that is above average. Very close to the Bièropholie IPA, except no haziness and slighlty less hop in the taste.

What can i say? It's very good;a lot of bitterness giving a very floral note and also quite malty which result a great balance between malt and hops.A very good beer with spicy food.

Poured a copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aorma of floral hops, light pine, citrus, and caramel malts. Pine and citrus in the taste, light grapefruit and nice sweet malts, to keep this more balanced than the Plus IPA.

from previous notes thanks to martinT. This pours a clear amber, with a minimal head. The initial flavor is a bit fizzy, but it calms down. Hoppy, dry, those are the key words to describe the taste.

Bottle: Poured a hazy brown color ale with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of dry hops and with some roasted malt. Taste kind of surprise me since I thought that Cascade hops were more floral and sweet then bitter but this is still very enjoyable nonetheless. Another fine beer from Bieropholie and a nice experiment.
