The beer pours a very hazed straw gold colour with a short lived white head. The aroma is bready malt, pine, tropical fruit, citrus, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was grains and tropical citrus followed by a mild bitter finish. -

Hazy golden-yellow colour with a frothy-bubbly white head, average retention and some soapy spot lacing. Citrus peel aromas with some of its juices. The taste shows the same. Some decent bitterness lingers. The dryness is not too crazy, so juicy and refreshing. A nice Pale Ale all-around.

Tall can from Cheshire Cat Pub. Had this one a few times before, just never got around to rating it. Pours a nice big frothy white head and has a hazy yellowish golden appearance. Some thick dirty lacing sticks around. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral, citrus and piney hops, some light tropical fruit notes and bit lemony in the finish. Flavours are very citrusy, lots of grassy and piney notes, a bit of lemon also comes through with a fairly yeasty finish. Mild bitterness on the palate. Pretty easy going pale ale, especially at 4.8%.

Of the Bellwood's brews I tried, this one was by far the best. Very grassy and piney. And very tasty. Not subtle, and yet not over powering either. Just right. And it's a damn fine good lookin' ale as well. Almost looks like a wit.
