Humle er planten, der giver denne øl det meste af sin karakter. På latinsk kaldes humle “Humulus Lupulus”. Lupulus betyder ulv, og navnet kommer af at humlen omklamrer det buskads, den vokser i, som en ulv omklamrer sit bytte. Med en fortryllende frisk humlearoma og tør finish, er denne øl ingenlunde omklamrende men snarere en ulv i fåreklæder.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of predominantly fruity American and New Zealand hops, citrussy and piney notes. Rather thin mouthfeel. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, there is a moderate sweetness, but hardly enough malty backbone to support the hops. The bitterness is not extreme, though.

Draught@Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar as well as some rather sweet tropical juiceconcentrate. Flavour is quite much the same, and is being very strong on the tropical fruity notes.

Pours out in a shady orange colour with a small creamy off-white head. Resin, flowers, Seville oranges and caramel in the aroma. Medium-bodied with balanced notes of resin, oranges, mild lemon and neutral yeast. Balanced medium-bitter finish of resin, pine, grass and neutral yeast.
