Bottle at in-laws into pint glass, clear copper color with white head. Aroma of toasted malt, some grain and faint caramel. Taste adds some earthiness and faint herbal/spicey note. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Leans kind of Oktoberfest light.

Amber/ orange leaning body. Thin foamy head, that disappates quickly leaving a thin soapy ring that leaves some occasional spots of lace. Some bread and caramel in the aroma, flavors follows suit with metallic undertones.

My first slightly skunky octoberfest. Worst that I have tried for octoberfests, but better than bmc. Sweet and some breadiness. A hint of old world maltiness. Rough chalkfeel in the mouth. It would do, but not on the top of my charts.

This is the best of the Beck's line that I've tasted. I love Oktoberfest beers and this one was good, better then expected but I'm not a huge Beck's fan. Pour with great amber color, with a good head that hangs around for a while. It has a good carmel taste which was smooth and easy to drink. Matches nicely with cheese and crackers.

This is a poor example of the style. Pours lifeless and watered down. Dorty orange color with very little head. The taste is a litle grainy and that's it. Skip it.

Comes out of the tap a clear, appetizing orange amber with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma has apple, pear and caramel notes and is rather sweet. Malty, fruity, somewhat sweet flavor has a hint of caramel. Texture has average body and a fair amount of fizz, leaving a tingly and fruity finish. Overall, not terrific, but worthy of at least a try.

for a buck? why not. not nearly as horrid as regular becks. can't say too much negative about it at all. nearly an average brew. had the right aroma and taste, but was a little lackluster in the delivery.

A weak schwartzbier frm Germany. A black pour, but both aroma and flavour are somewhat muted when compared to other beers of the style. Easy to drink, but then, so is water.

Nice light amber pour with a light head and some lacing. Nice light toasty and slightly sweet aroma - very slight caramel - and a hint of hops. Taste is very average, not unpleasant, with a slight sweet malty flavor and a touch of hops bitter in the finish.

It pours a dark amber with thin light-tan head and some lace. A bready and yeasty aroma of caramel malts, faint hops, honeycomb, orange-citrus, light peach, and mildly spicy. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange-citrus, roasted nuts, honey, bread and yeast, and spiciness. Excellent, I think it competes with Paulaner's.
