500 ml flip-top bottle. Poured an unfiltered hazy old copper or orange -brown colored Bock with a good one finger slight beige foamy head that had a short retention. Mid-sized carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is heavy caramel malts, cereal, some fruits and notes of honey. The flavour is grainy caramel malts, honey, bread, herbal hops. The mouthfeel is crispy and sweety. This medium bodied Bock has a caramel sweety finish. A quite decent and drinkable Bock.

To be honest, I thought this was brewed by Beck's - but it's not. It's a clear dark gold beer, white head, lots of effervescence. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, grain, and citrus. The flavour is very grainy with a hint of sweetness. Decent.

Sampled on 11/13/2009. This hellerbock pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl swingtop. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is bread and sweet, caramel, touch of sweetness. A medium bodied bock. The malts are caramel and slightly sweet, touch of orange and orange peel. Hops are herbal and earthy. Some spices? Lively carbonation. Not as sweet as one would expect, but a lot more orange and orange peel than usual. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Dark golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malty with some hints of alcohol and butter. Flavour is very sweet malts with some hints of alcohol. A bit too sweet for me...
