Not too shabby for an amber, but not a standout either. Balanced aroma of carmel and nutty malts, maybe a touch of honey, and citrus and pine from the hops. The flavor is similar, but a little more on the boring side of things. decent session, though.

One of those rare occasions (for me, at least) that the beer looks and smells better than it tastes. For this beer had a really nice amber body,'with just thin-dime's worth of ever-present head on top, and nice lacing as things progressed.

The aroma, too, was quite interesting. Almost an "oaky/woodsy"-type of smell to this. Interesting, and something that I wouldn't mind finding in more beers in the future.

But unfortunately, the First Act was the only Act worth paying attention to, when it comes to this Play. For it seems that the flavor profile made something of an Exit, Stage Right early in the performance. Almost as if the aroma stole the show from the flavor.

A rather hallow beer, that seems to have such potential, but ends up going no-where fast.

Medium brown color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and slightly nutty. A medium bodied amber. Malts are nutty and slightly sweet. Hops are fairly bitter. Well balanced. Very drinkable. Nice but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
