This is a great tasting beer. Though after learning that Coors owns the company now I may quit buying it.

Color was not pale in my opinion.had good malt taste and I found it not to be bitter. It seemed to have a smell that reminded me of wheat. Went well with my steak dinner. And paired well with my after dinner cigar.

Drank this lately in Houston and this US version is not as good as the UK’s. Color is bit too pale, alochol at 5%, but because served too cold the taste was killed. Pitty.

This beer is even better when purchased fresh in a UK pub. Beer has a great pale brown color, with a great aroma. this beer is really smooth and easy to drink. Also this beer works well to make black and tans with. Hightly recommend this one!

great beer to try over a light meal... not much aroma or head. very smooth taste with a malt flavor. I'll definitely be having some more of this beer.

Amber color with a slight head and decent lacing. Medium bodied with a slight biscuit and hops flavor and malt aftertaste. A decent, middle of the road brew.

A very nice ale, with a rich, warm amber color - doesn't look pale to me. :) Head is foamy and dense. Smell is beery, with a hit of sweetness, and inviting. Taste is very smooth, with fruity undertones and no bitterness. An excellent accompaniment to a good meal, or for just plain sipping when you are in the mood for an exceptional ale.

I often order this on draft at a local bar when I go out with friends. It's not my favorite but I enjoy it on occasion and in some moderation. The pour The price is the main thing that keeps me from drinking it more frequently. The pour usually leaves small-medium head and is a dark brownish red. Laces the glass well. Has a bitter after taste that can be a tad offensive some days but mostly a solid beer with good flavor

This beer was the first I'd ever had from a tap. Not a bad choice either. The color is a pale brown-gold with a thin white head that laces little. The aroma is grassy, wheaty, and hoppy. The taste is smooth with notes of wheat, grassy, and a slight hoppy bite at the end. A very good dinner beer for the price.

This was a good tasting Pale. I was pleasantly surprised to try this but agree with another review that in this is a cut a little above Heine's and Other domestic brews. I will defintiely have this again. Opening was a nice scent, slight hoppy but very mild in taste. There was a definite flavor that I enjoyed and I have only found it in a Bass.

Whenever they have this beer at a restaurant, etc. as an alternative "premium" choice versus the domestics like Bud, Coors, etc., it's a no-brainer to me. I put this in the class with the Heinekens, Corona's and such, and am happy to have that choice. A good overall beer, without that sour bitter aftertaste. Sweetness from the malts, maybe a slight honey flavor. Pours a nice shiney medium brown-amber color. Medium light carbonation with a decent head. Good with Fish and Chips, especially if used in a Black and Tan!
