This quenching brew is crafted in the American west-coast style. It sports a beautiful soft citrus hop aroma which gives way to a round, honeyed-fruit flavor. The finish is crisp and refreshing.

Taps hazy dark amber with a thick and persistent fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma delivers notes of pear, Apple and fresh malt. Flavor features malt, fruity and woody hops notes for a refreshing brew. Mouthfeel offers firm body, good fizz, and a bread finish. One for the Axis - and next, one for the Allies.

A clouy orange colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising robustly above. There was good hang time. It settles into a moderate ringlet. Nice citrus-citric nose and tasting. Sweet malt in the background. Light and refreshing.

orange peel abounds in the nose and flavor which is nice but by the end, a little one dimensional. not much else going on save for the traditional malt balance. not bad though.

Sampled on 12/3/2009. This pale ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is fruity, sweet, malty and citrusy. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of peach and apricots. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity, orange and orange rind. Lively carbonation. Interesting, citrusy and bitter, but not necessarily from hop bitterness. Bright yeast flavors as well. Kind of different, its not quite a West Coast Pale Ale, as the hop bitterness is not huge. Yet it has that distinctive West Coast fell to it. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This beer poured a orangey brown color with a nice head. It is an unfiltered beer that is fermenting in the bottle still. Nice mouthfeel to it. The aroma had a slight citrus to it with lots of hoppy smell. The flavor was great. A little sweet and citrusy and hoppy. I liked it a lot, but spendy.

Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a medium off-white head with minimal retention. Strangely carbonation is really low on that one. Aroma of floral and sweet malt as well as nice hops is clearly evident. Taste is kind of overpowered by slightly bitter hops with an underlying sweetness that doesn’t really do it for me. Ok without being anything too special.
