Hopefully I’m reviewing the write brew. This one has a blue/white label. Bought at Ledger’s Liquors, in Berkeley, Ca. Ultra light yellow color. Very frothy tight white head that collapses fairly quickly. Light yeasty aroma. Flavor? Hmm. Not sure what to say. Has a light hop character to it, but its not huge. Refreshing, but nothing extremely memorable about it. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again.

Pours brilliant clear gold with 1 minute white head. The modest aroma has notes of malts, graininess, floral hops and just a bit of yeasty spice. The taste starts with a pulse of floral hoppiness and then moves into solid malty sweetness. By midway a grainy note surfaces and takes the experience to the finish with lingering mild floral hop bitterness.

Golden amber with bubbly creamy white head. Sweet grassy aroma. Bitter corny grain flavor.

Pours a pale yellow color with a nice white head that hangs around for a while. The aroma is floral with malts and faint yeast. The taste is malt. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with excellent carbonation.

500 ml bottle, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 5.6%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of grass, hay, herbs and flowers. Slightly citric mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately sweet, with moderate herbal hops.

Clear light yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is malty, taste is not too outstanding. A regular German beer, they kind of all taste the same. Aftertaste is short lasting. (Velp 201304)

One of the top 5 in style I've had. Very pleasant and flavorful malty backbone. Sweet, but not cloying or plastic tasting. The aroma is malty as well, with just a hint of floral hops. Nicely done, and was even enjoyed after some big boys - which made the fact it was enjoyed that much more impressive.

A bright golden colored beer highlights lots of bubbles. A moderate sized frothy textured, white head rises above. Drttles fairly quickly into a medium sized ringlet. A malted, zested aroma. Biscuity, lemon and spice in the tasting. Moderate bodied. Quite refreshing.

This poured a goldoen color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, hay, and a bit of banana. The flavor is a bit sweet with some lemons, vanilla, and ginger. This is an interesting beer indeed. Overall I liked it.

Wow! .. this is pricey for a lager. Anyway, it pours a light yellow golden with no head rather spots of head and a ring of lacing. An aroma of fresh barley malts, light hops, light lemon and citrus, bread and yeast, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of barely malts, hops, lemon and citrus, bread and yeast, light vanilla, and spiciness. Well it is a lager, but probably the best brewed lager I've ever had ... This is the heart of it ...
