All-American Pale Ale brewed with US grown malted barley and hops! “IDA” is pale and crisp with a medium bodied malt profile. A star-spangled hop cast provides a rich piney and citrus notes and just enough bitterness to tame the malt sweetness. Independence Day Ale is the best choice for slaking the neat on a hot July day. A really refreshing pale ale that was distinctly different from their American River pale. A little smoother tasting, not quite as hoppy with more balance to the hop/malt ratio. Piney/earthy hops in both the aroma and palate made me think of SN's Pale Ale or Drake's 1500 on more than one occasion.
