This West Coast classic pale ale is refreshingly drinkable. A pleasant malt profile gives way to an assertive fresh hop flavor, with a dry citrus hop aroma and orangey fruitiness in the finish.

A very solid, highly drinkable pale ale that rivals the consumeability of SNPA. Aroma is sweet orange rhinds, bready malts with a bit of cookie. Flavor has a fantastic balance of hops and malts, bready/cookie like malts and citrusy/orange hops. Really nice.
Re-Rate 7/29/12:
Loved the fresh cattyness in the aroma this time around. Fresh and bright, like they dry-hopped the heck outta this. Very perfumy. The brewers really cranked this up from the last time I had it. Loved the assertive hoppyness in aroma and flavor department. Malts were there, but well hidden. Probably my 2nd favorite beer there now. -

pretty good pale ale here too. nice hop profile...balance is skewed a little on the hoppy side, but nothing wrong with that. overall a pleasant easy drinking pale ale.
