Rich, round and roasted our oatmeal stout is a glass of pleasure. It’s a bold smooth-bodied concoction that oozes aromas and tastes of dark chocolate. We round out these heady flavors with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy texture and semi-dry finish.

a little thin for the style, but not too bad. aroma of milk chocolate and day old coffee. not all together a miss but could be better. flavor is good but lacking depth.

Dark brown pour, a bit murky, medium tan head, some lacing. Toasted malts, almost stale coffee, chocolate in the nose and flavors, thinnish, a bit better as it warms. Great label.

On tap and 22oz bottle -
A definite swing and a miss. Chocolate, coffee...kinda acidic too. Ashy and scorched chocolate tasting, some metallic notes along with some wet dirt. Strange beer. Seemed a little off. -

I like this one. Good...not great. Lots of coffee up front (almost too much). I especially like the oatmeal and chocolate blend at the finish. It is a little on the thinner side and could use a creamier texture, but honestly, I hardly notice it. There are some better ones out there for a little less money, so probably wouldn't get this again. But, worth the try at least once...especially if you like coffee in your brew.

This one is a light weight. Dark enough in color. But a two finger foamy textured tan head with a short retention. A medium sized soapy ringlet is left behind. Coffee nose. Bitter chocolate. Light bodied and crisp and dry.

Strong, smoky aroma has notes of quality coffee, licorice and semi-sweet chocolate. Pours a dark chocolate brown that lets in a little light just at the edges and has a thick and fairly persistent tan head. Smoky flavor has coffee, licorice and chocolate notes with hints of caramel, woody hops and molasses. Body seems a bit thin for a stout, and fizz leaves something to be desired - but the texture is this beer’s only real weak point.
