Brewed from only the finest hops, malted barley, hops, yeast, hops, and pristine Boonville mineral water, and hops. Hop-heads your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hard working hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight).

Light amber opaque colored with brown lacing foam head. Aroma is definitely hoppy, like taste. Nice American style IPA. Long lasting aftertaste. (The Hague 201308)

Crystal clear copper with a very tall pillowy cap that leaves behind roapy lacing on every sip. Oooooooo that smells nice!! Hard lemon candy, earthy caramel, sponge toffee. The aroma is mellow yet full. Light but full taste. Caramel, big hops, peach, lemon, leather, lots of yum. So thirsty, so I'm drinking fast and forgetting to pay attention. Brew has a heavy sweetness that sneaks up on you. Why did I just smell popcorn? Easy to jug brew with no faults.

This one has potential to be better, but just slightly above average IPA. Nice strength to it....both malty and hoppy. However, the balance could be a better...as well as the feel. Flavor is good though, not quite an 8. Light brown to orange appearance. This and the brown ale were the ones I liked in the variety pack. So far, finding Anderson Valley a forgettable brewery.

Nice orange color and good head, sweet malt, piney flavor, slightly too bitter at the end and a little soapy, blah di blah di blah Has a bear-a-lope on the outside and funny jokes on the inside of the cap. Its also a solar powered brewery.

This was a very good beer. A nice golden-orange pour, slightly hazy, and thin tan cap. Nice citrusy aroma, some spices, and some caramel malt. The flavour is mre of the same with the spices shining through and helping balance out the hop bitterness.

Gift from a buddy... pours nice amber to copper with a very thin head that quickly dissolves - no lacing. Piney aroma without the requisite citrus. Medium bodied. Hoppy up front, but tapering to flat at the back. No bite in the finish. Decent, but not one to seek.

Wow! Went through an American IPA phase near the start of my beer journey. Then... got sick of the intense bitterness. Nothing seemed to be well rounded and fully flavourful and enjoyable to drink. The 1000IBU from Mikkellar was cool, but nothing seemed to be awesome. Then I got this beer from Vegas. WOW! so full in the mouth, bitter, dry like a great Pouilly Fume, floral, stone fruit, kiwi, underripe peach, grapefruit of course, blood orange, wet spruce bow, trace lemon jolly rancher, and thats just the hop profile. Now the malts, slightly malty, just a touch of biscuit dryness, that builds on the hop character. Sourdough herbal character, super full in the mouth. WOW! Could even be a yeast character to the beer, uncanny in a IPA? MMM mmm good.

Very nice copper/amber color. Hazy with a creamy, off white head with decent size and adequate retention. Left a pretty good amount of lacing also. The head looks almost like a creamy eggnog color. Nice, solid aroma of grapefruit citrus. Some cracker and bread like aromas. Some caramel sweetness really starts to stand out as it warms. Some floral and piny notes add to the complexity as a good IPA should. The taste revealed more of the cracker and bready flavors than the grapefruit citrus. The bitterness is there, but seems to be more relaxed. It's a bit sticky and resiny. A very little bit of alcohol graces the tone. Strong medium mouthfeel. Leaves plenty on the palate. Smooth, but sharp at the end. Refreshing and crisp. A small bit of alcohol warmth at the end. This beer is solid all around. Easy drinking and would be a pleasure at any point during the year. If someone offered this to me, I wouldn't hesitate. Worth a try for sure and I could easily put a couple of these back .

Aroma is quite strong and quite hoppy with a citrusy undertone. It pours a beautiful clear orange amber with a fairly thick off-white head that sticks around for a bit. Flavor is firmly hoppy with a nice bitter bite and whispers of orange and sweetness. Texture is fizzy and lively, leaving a nice hoppy tingle along with both bitter and sweet hints.

12 fl. oz. bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Deep golden colour, big off-white head. The aroma has plenty of fruity American hops, notes of fresh orange marmalade and grapefruit. The flavour is a solid hoppy attack from start to finish, with a subdued malty sweetness in the background. Very bitter aftertaste.
