Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangos, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish. FOOD PAIRINGS: Jalapeno poppers, grilled lamb, spicy Thai dishes, caramel cheesecake CHEESE PAIRINGS: Sharp Cheddar, Roquefort GLASSWARE: Snifter or Tulip ALC/VOL: 8.6 BITTERNESS: 100 IBU MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Victory HOPS: Columbus, Chinook, Cascade

12oz bottle pours clear copper with a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up vague notes of modest hoppiness where I just pick out a faint citrus, hop resin and a sliver of biscuit like malts(?) Nah . . . well maybe. The taste has nice firm citrus hop bitterness that gets resiny and later a bit citrus hop flavor like. Behind those notes to midway a touch of malts and biscuit malts come to the surface just as a bit of spicy to lime like citrus helps take this to the finish. Pretty darn tasty.

Pour cloudy dark golden with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is malty, earthy and citrus. Taste is citrus, caramel, pine resin, bitter
A decent DIPA, hoppy but still just a little too sweet.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
Bottle at home, Dark orange beer with a medium head, aroma is citrus, fruit. Taste is citrus, a bit malts, quite bitter. Very nice.

Medium sized off white head, fair retention and lace. Lightly hazy copper hued brew. Nose is mild citrus and a bit earthy. Body is med/light with a soft carbonation, tame and still. Gentle hops and malts lead to an uneventful DIPA. I think this brewery could be so much more but they tend to not be. Dry, quiet finish. Bottle from statelineliquors.

355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.7%. Hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Strong hoppy aroma of oranges / orange marmalade and grapefruit, hints of caramel and pine needles. The flavour is first fruity and fresh, then a ferocious attack of piney and grapefruity American "C"-hops sets in, and leaves you with a massive bitter finish - all on a background of medium sweet crystal malts.

Pours a clear golden-amber colour with a big frothy yellowish head that stays long and creates nice foamy-creamy lace with designs. Aromas of thick green grass with lots of citrus fruits (tangerine, oranges), all with caramel malts. The mouthfeel starts off wet, medium-bodied, and end with just a little dryness. The bitterness builds up with time. Lots of oranges and grapefruit zest in the taste over cereal malts. Goes down well, but just not my type of DIPA.

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden orange colour with a generous off-white rocky head that lasts. The aroma is pine, citrus, caramel, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour has a sweet and sour complexity. Nice caramel notes balanced with citrus notesAroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Amber pour with a thin white head. Fair amount of lace. Fruity and malty with a crisp finish. Enjoyable for sure. Surprised to see the low reviews from others.

12oz bottle -
It really wouldn't surprise me to find out that this is a reproduction of their 20th Anniversary IIPA because it had many similarities. A balanced approach to the aroma and palate was well served. Aroma of orange juice with pine needles. Flavor of grapefruits with white sugar...bitter but sweet enough not to be harsh.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8
Bomber from BCLDB Nordel Crossing. 8.7% ABC and 100 IBU. Fluffy white head over a pour of clear amber-orange. Strong, robust aroma of pine I mean redwood and citrus. Strong flavour too, with the redwood (not pine) and citrus, and what a ton of hops, too! Solid mouthfeel. Hoppy and bitter finish.
