Dumped out into glass and got a light brown brew with a small white head that immediately died leaving no hope for lacing. Smells of dark caramel, buttered toast, a bit of roast malt, weak fruit (early on. Comes out a bit more later, but not much). The taste is of fruit (don't recall anything definite), dark caramel and roasted malts. It decent enough to keep you happy. Don't forget the hops throughout. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft with a good swish, nice bitterness and fresh and ends with a semi-creamy coating and an odd bitterness that reminded me of X-Mas for whatever reason. Tastes better when warmer. Doctor Zhivago - Ch 16, page 273, first paragraph: "Yury was riding home from Yuryatin." Huh?

More of a bronzy brown then a red color for the body and it has a tan cap that seems to have some lasting power looks normal. Smell is mild but not offensive what is always a good start from Alley Kat, watermelon, some sweet malt, and a touch of plain yogurt. Mild hop flavour (watermelon) very smooth malt, wood, and I swear I’m getting a sour yogurt flavour. Some sweet blueberry maybe is showing up in the finish. This is good enough to set back and drink if you don’t want to think about it but I’ll never buy again.
