The Galaxy Hop is a small gift from the great continent of Australia. Its exotic roots are evident in the generous aromas of tropical fruit that we have gone to great lengths to capture in Alexander Keith’s Galaxy Hop Ale.

Small bubbly head is gone in a flash. No lacing. Herbal aroma and flavour. Mild caramel malt and wet grass. Thin mouthfeel. Just another poor attempt to be something better.

The third in the Alexander Keith's single hop pale ale series. I had high hopes for this one, but was extremely disappointed. The darkest beer yet with a distinct light amber colour, but the tropical fruit aroma normally associated with galaxy hops is completely lacking. Flavour is quite thin and again, lacking the fruit notes I was expecting.

Pours a thin amount of head and has an amber coppery appearance. Thick lacing. Hoppy aromas immediately noticeable. Mild sweet caramel aromas as well. Nice citrus hops and sweet malt flavours. Some notes of pomegranate and dark fruits. Light mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Somewhat of a rusty like hop finish. Not too bad.

Bought a 6-pack at a local Metro store. Pours a clean rich amber colour with lots of wild carbonation. The foamy head is light-beige, stays a bit and gives out some soft dirty and soapy lacing. Nice citrus aromas from the hops, with more of the oranges covering the grapefruit. So, not as sharp, but pretty fruity. The taste is milder, with a wet mouthfeel and a little stickiness. Very light bitterness, citrus, caramel malts, grain and grass. The best so far of their "Hop Series" beers and preferred it from the bottle.
