The Alkexander Keith hop series has been a massive faailure among craft beer drinkers. While I am sure it is a well-intentioned attempt to win back clients by making a better quality beer, there are others who are looking at it as a cowardly feeble attempt to play with craft guys. Unfortunately craft beer drinkers think the quality falls far short of expectations and Keith's drinkers think this is a waste of money that could be spent on their IPA. This is an orange coloured beer with a white head. Aroma is certainly hoppy, mixed with typical cereal malt off smells. Flavour is a tad malty for a beer showing off a hop.

Pours a light golden-amber colour with a foamy off-white head, decent lasting with a little lacing. Fruity nose with some mild grass, bread and caramel. The taste is not as hoppy, but the flavours of oranges are felt. Hints of sweetness from the caramel malts and some bread in the finish. A little tea lingers. Not a bad brew, goes down nicely when cold. Interesting hop this celeia, but not something to go back to a lot. Refreshing and not too dry.

Pours a huge frothy off-white head that leaves thick dirty lacing and has a clear golden light amber appearance. Average carbonation. Aromas of bready malts, toffee and earthy hops. Flavours are mostly malty, a lot less hoppy than expected. More earthy and herbal type hops. Lots of bready and caramel like malt notes. Some bitterness on the palate. Still not as good as the galaxy hop.

The beer pours a translucent light copper colour with a generous light tan head that quicklt dissipates to a thin film. The aroma is grains, caramel, floral hops and dishsoap. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is metallic grains, acidic hops, and another off-taste I can't place. Not something I will try again. -

Ok looking beer. The head actually sticks around most of the way and leaves some lacing. Earthy and metallic aroma. All subdued flavours of caramel malt, wet grass, lemon, floral hops, very mild spice and as in the aroma metallic. thin mouthfeel. Time to move on to a decent beer.
