Strawberry Harvest Lager is a wheat beer made with real Louisiana strawberries, picked late in the season when they’re at their sweetest. This brew has earned quite a reputation in a short time, causing the brewery to up their production year after year. When this brew is found, emails and phone calls fly to friends informing them of the store’s location. Strawberry Harvest is a crisp, light lager with just a hint of strawberry sweetness. It is wonderful with desserts or lighter fares such as salads and pastas. Fresh cheeses such as Burrata, chevre, Creszenza, mozzarella or Teleme pair well with Strawberry Harvest.

Pours out a clear gold color. The aroma is of light strawberry. When I poured it out I noticed there was sitiment stuck on the bottom that hadnt come out even though I shook the the hell out of the last two ounces. It just tasted like a weak wheat beer. I got a stick and scratched the sentiment of the bottom and poured it into my glass. Now the got a glass of strawberry Nestles Quick with wheat. Really smells good also.

pours a dull straw color with good clarity and small rocky white head retains very well and foamy clumps of lacing cling to the glass here and there. The aroma is of strawberry candy, shortbread, wheat, an possibly a very subtle hint of tartness. The taste is wheat, strawberry candy with a nip of tartness which is more pronounced than the aroma suggested. Also some shortbread and an abrupt finish of wheat and tart strawberry. The mouth feel is very light in body, creamy, and a moderate amount of carbonation.

I expected this to be awful so I was surprised at how not bad it was. One of the very few strawberry flavored beverages to come across as not terribly artificial. Nicely restrained strawberry aroma and taste.

Still leaning toward the stereotypical light foofy side of fruity beers. The strawberry is light. Fairly pleasant, but slightly medicinal. Otherwise, not a whle lot going on here. This "This brew has earned quite a reputation in a short time" kinda makes me laugh. 15th percentile. Nice rep :)

Fruit beers vary wildly in their approach to the fruit that's being showcased. Some are extremely fruit forward with a jammy, fruit fruit aroma and flavor and others are extremely pedestrian with barely any fruit noticeable. This beer falls towards the lower end of the fruit spectrum, and seemed very restrained. It was clean, somewhat refreshing, and the strawberries did show up in the flavor...but they reminded me dried strawberries. I think I have a few female friends that might enjoy this. -

I like strawberries. Abita is hit or miss, usually miss. So I'm taking a chance with this one... Decent clear light golden yellow pour, fizzy, nice head, light lacing. Stale light berry breakfast cereal aroma, corn flakes, artificial strawberry, not a pleasant nose. Taste? about as poor as the aroma: stale wet artificial berry cereal, not even much lager flavor. Just a piss poor beer overall. Glad I only bought one. Poured it out after drinking about 1/3.

Dont really care for strawberries, so wasn't expecting much. Flavor is a ustry. Strawberry seems on the artificial side. Not something I'd buy, but tried some from a friend's sample.

It pours a light yellow-gold with a thick white head and some lines of lace surrounding. An aroma of grainy malts, strawberry, citrus, some breadiness, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly rich. Flavors of fresh malts, hops, strawberry, citrus, bread, some vanilla and light spices. Good all-around and not overwhelming with the strawberry.

Aroma is crisp and malty with a strong and only slightly sweet strawberry overtone. It pours a rather typical clear straw yellow with a thick, fluffy, white head that dissipates somewhat quickly. Flavor is malty and has just a bit of strawberry taste, less than what the aroma promised. It is also a bit watery. Texture is thick and smooth, barely tingly. OK, but this is not one I will actively hunt out for a second try.

I was really not a fan of this. I am not a big light lager fan in general and that is what this tasted like. It has a small aroma of strawberries and even less taste. Not a whole lot different from a average light lager.
