Our Black IPA is made with a combination of pale, caramel, chocolate and black malts. This gives the beer a very dark color and a strong roasted malt flavor. It is then liberally hopped and dry hopped with Apollo, Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra hops. This gives the beer an intense hop flavor and aroma. Food Pairings Since our Black IPA has such a strong flavor profile it is best enjoyed as a stand alone drink. It would be great as an after dinner or dessert drink as well. Any kind of chocolate dessert dish would complement the roasted malts quite well. It would also be great with smoked duck or pork.
