12 oz. bottle. Pours clear golden with a lasting ring of film of cream. Nose is buttered popcorn, caramel and a bit of dry grass. Tastes of sweet toasted maize, squash and a bit of dry grass. Medium body is too sweet, but has a nice smooth, low-medium carbonation.

A little bit on the hazy side for a lager, but aside from that a nice golden colour with a white head. Ample aroma of grass and hops. Flavour profile is similar to the aroma. End bite isn't that bitter, and nothing outstanding, but plenty of refreshment on a hot summer afternoon.

Bottled@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malty, bready and some slight grassy notes. Flavour is much the same. Refreshing, but rather boring and watery.

Short stubby 12 oz brown bottle with a twist off cap. Olfactory is slightly rotten Pennsylvania farm pond water. Nearly hazy pale yellow brew that looks almost wheat in nature. Fairly mild pale lager impressions. Somewhat like the Light version with a little more personality, of course. Decent carbonation, could use more. Cardboard is absent in this one. Not much alky flavors present. Finish is wet watery straw or hay. IMHO, comes on more like a pale yellow american lager, not a premium.

This beer is so average it hurts. I mean, it's not a bad beer, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to have one. I cannot imagine myself saying, "man, I really have a hankerin' for an Abita Golden Lager."

Pours a typical clear golden colour. Head is quick to build and quick to subside. Aroma is light in fruit and hint of floral character. Taste is pretty basic- grain, corn and light fruit. A little grassy midpalate.

This one poured a nice golden color with a firm white head. It had subtle hops in the aroma with a flavor consisting of semi-dry malt, probably Caramel malt, and a smooth finish.

Well this is your typical slug in the sun kind of beer with a fancy name (at least I've never heard of them). Golden colored, small head, some lacing. It looks slightly better than a Bud, Coors or Miller. Somewhat grassy tasting with a touch of hops and lemon but overall it's watery. It's important to note that there is no skunk or foul taste to this. It's very easy drinking but there's just not much to it. I won't buy it again as I'll just buy the cheap stuff to suit this purpose but I'll drink one if someone gives it to me.

Clear golden color, with an above averge aroma a hint of spice or something, light in body and a bit on the sweet side. Hit the spot on the hot summer days but not one I would purchase as my steady beer.

Right down the line this was pretty average....not great, but not bad. This poured a golden color with lots of lacing. There was very little aroma, however. The taste was smooth and fair enough to be enjoyable.
