Aroma is strong, fruity and somewhat sweet, but not cloying, with a hint of malt. It pours a lovely hazy golden with a fairly thick and fluffy white head. Flavor is strong and fruity, mainly apple and pear plus a hint of banana and a touch of citrus, as well as yeasty and malty hints. Texture is fairly smooth with a firm tingle.

Poured a hazy, orange color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, earthy yeastiness, coriander, orange peel, and spicy cloves. Taste of citrus, toffee malts, lemongrass, dry, yeasty, with some bitter hops, white pepper, and tart grapes as well.

malts, yeast, and spices OH MY. lol, this brew was pretty damn decent when i had it last weekend with ice and shag at the 5. nice golden-orange color with a decent head on it. The aroma had some grapefruit and citrus and bredy hints to it. Flavor was much the same, and very mellow. i love the 5 and will miss it greatly when i move on in july.

This is an interesting beer. Some of it’s characteristics suggest that it’s a Flanders Red, but the color would suggest otherwise. It’s a pale amber with a white head. The aroma is green fruits not quite ready to be picked like apples, grapes and plums. There’s the faintest hint of vinegar in the aroma (which is fairly common in Oud Bruins from what I’ve seen). I’d like to see it a bit bolder, but the tartness makes for a refreshing beer without being bland.

I have to say Glen sure knows how to brew beer. This is right up there with the really special Belgiun Ales that I’ve had. Nice and tart with a spicy yeast taste. This is an epic brew. Almost worth the trip to Atlanta.

This was a great beer. A very fruit and sugary aroma. Apperance is yellowish orange with a very large head. The flavor is very delicate with a nice mixture of pears, oranges, and some yeast. The aftertaste is slightly sour with a nice sugar coat. Overall it was very tasty.
