Comes out of the growler a clear, pale yellow with a fluffy but not persistent white head. Not impressive - but let’s wait. Faint wheaty aroma has a strong overtone of watermelon. Flavor is wheaty and more watermelon-ish - not great, but OK to take the edge off your thirst on a blistering day. Texture is on the thin side and not too fizzy. OK, not 21st Amendment’s best effort, but fine for chugging on a hot, steamy day, or at a pool party or a sports event.

Lightly hazed golden straw yellow pour, short white head, some lacing. Sweet wheat and light watermelon aroma, some very slight citrus, more wet grains. Zesty and melon fruity flavor, light on the watermelons but noticeable, lightly sweet and grainy. Nice end of summer brew - decent refresher on a hot day.

Pours a lightly hazy pale straw yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation, with a thin fizzy off-white head that quickly reduces to a thin film around the edges of the glass. The aroma is mild but you can definitely detect the smell of watermelon and wheat. The taste is of course watermelon which stands out more in the taste than the smell but there is also a decent wheat body. I like the fact that the watermelon flavor is not artificial or overly sweet. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation.

Watery and thin with a faint watermelon sweetness. Aroma is watered down watermelon and cardboard and flavor follows suit with a hint of grassy wheat. Novelty worth trying once or twice, but a poor beer all in all.

THis was not a good beer as I expected a lot more....and didn't get it. The pour is cloudy, pale yellow, and topped with a bubbly white head that disappears faster than a cockroach in the light. There was neither wheat or watermelon in the aroma, just a bunch of old wet grains. The taste was rather bland with the wet grains severley watered down. Certainly not something I would recommend to my friends.

Pours a pale yellow, no real head. While I give them a hand for trying something different, I just don't think this really works for me. It's a watery lager with added flavor - I can't really even say that flavor is watermelon. Yuck. First beer I've poured in a long, long time.

This beer pours a beautiful golden color with a stiff white head. The aroma is nice and malty with little melon aroma. The flavor was a good wheat beer with a rancid watermelon taste at the end. Not a good beer at all.

I really wasn't expecting much with this and, not surprisingly, my low expectations were right on the mark. Looks, smells, and tastes just like any other pale lager. The only difference is a bit of watermelon in the finish. Great to see canned craft beer but wish this was better.

Can from trade: Pours a hazey straw colored wheat ale in the flute. 2 finger rocky cap doesn’t last well but laces the glass moderately. Lively artificial carbonation. Aroma is quite pleasant: wheaty biscuit tones with fruits and musty melon. Light bodied, peppery mouth feel. Tastes almost like it smells but the melon is more detectable, yet not offensively overpowering or synthetic. Finish is dry, clean crisp. Great little summer sipper. I like it and I usually don’t like fruit beer.
