Pours an ugly brown with a foamy tan head. Muted citrus hops combined with toasted malts in the aroma. Grapefruit and piney hops are more robust in the flavor with a strong roasted malt presence as well. This is an interesting take on an IPA, with a stronger malt presence than most others.

Murky brown, I'd have figured to LOVE the aroma given the hops used, but it was a tad under the wheat IPAs awesome nose. The flavor, however, was a great mix. A blast of citrus and spice followed by nicely roasted malts. Semi sweet and bitter. Well done.
