The newest addition to our Season Sessions line is Maggie’s Peach Farmhouse Ale. This refreshing summer offering has all the flavor and aroma of a freshly picked peaches (to the tune of 1,000 pounds per 100 barrel batch!) combined with the complexity of a well executed farmhouse ale. Some of you may remember Maggie’s older sister, Side Project Volume 7, one of Spike’s first first foray into farmhouse ales. This newest version is just as lovely, should age just as well and has the uniquely GA flavor of fresh summer peaches!

I haven't had the Peaotch yet, but imagine it would be like a stronger version of this. Very bubbly. Aroma isn't that great....especially right after the pour. Flavor is ok.. wheaty and peach. Some citrus too. Summer beer. Been there done that with this one, but would much rather prefer a DFH Aprihop

Pours a rather typical clear straw yellow with a so-so white head, not very inspiring. Fortunately, this is the beer’s weakest aspect. Aroma is more inviting, wheaty and yeasty with a slight citrus overtone. Flavor is even better, mouth-filling, malty and yeasty with a whisper of lemon and a hint of hops. Texture is nice and smooth and fairly fizzy, leaving a tingly and slightly tart finish.

A bold golden yellow in color with a three fingered sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A barely discernible ringlet is left. It is very much peach with a funky yeast and graininess holding it up. Crisp and effervescent.

Pours out a slightly hazy gold with a white head. You don't have to lift your glass to your nose to smell the peaches. The mouthfeel is just about on the edge of thickness. The taste is all malt and peaches.

I picked this beer up from the Wine Gourmet in Roanoke, Virginia. This was NOT a favorite of mine. I think Terrapin does a nice IPA but I am not into this fruity beer. It tasted skunky and overly fruity.

Aroma was exploding with fresh peach with light funk and a hint of pepper underneath. The pepper, especially in the flavor, is seemingly at odds with the fruit here, but this beer manages to pull it off. Definitely better than it would be without the fruit.

Another Southern Peach beer. Yes. Light straw gold color with a very slight cloudiness, fluffy white head, some lacing. Good carbonation. Light fresh peachy aroma, slight funk and yeasts, some honey and honeysuckle, slightly floral, sweet and more peaches. As a fruit ale this is tasty; as a Saison it is just OK; as a Peach beer, it is tasty as hell. YUM.
