A nice strong ale with a beautiful dark amber-brown color and a strong hoppy smell. Taste is rich and hoppy, with smoky undertones and just a tad of bitterness. It feels smooth in the mouth and when going down the hatch. I have yet to be disappointed by any offering at 5 Seasons, and this met my expectations of their excellent brews.

This is 5 Seasons' signature beer, and for good reason: it's a smooth, very drinkable beer. The flavor is not all that impressive, but this makes it a good choice for people who aren't into strong, hoppy beers. It is also a good beer to start with if you plan on knocking back a few. When I am at 5 Seasons and someone is not sure which one to try, I often recommend this one since it has a good general beer flavor but is not overpowering. Seven Sisters is a good "party" beer for when you are drinking with friends or watching a ball game.

Color is a clear, very pale yellow - not good for a beer, but acceptable for pear cider. Aroma is strong and sweet, just like a pear, and very inviting because I love pears. Flavor is not strong, but it is delicious and refreshing, with just a hint of alcohol nip. Because it is so sweet and smooth, it could be insidious! Good by itself, or a nice accompaniment to a meal or a party.
