This is the best pilsner I have ever had! Pours a beautiful golden opaque amber so it looks like honey. Aroma is hoppy with some maltiness and a hint of lemon. Rich flavor has a nice balance of hops and malt, along with a lemony overtone. Aftertaste is very pleasant and smooth. Satisfying and refreshing, this is another winner from Five Seasons!

Color is rich amber, like the typical American lager but with a depth such brews lack. Smell is strong and invitingly beery. Taste is very good, with no bitterness and just a whisper of sweetness. It feels as smooth as the proverbial silk and goes right down easily. A good starter beer!

Color is a beautiful clear reddish-brown with a thick head. Aroma is hoppy and has a toffee hint. Flavor has noticeable hoppy and malty components, with nutty undertones and a whisper of toffee or caramel. Sweet and bitter tastes balance very nicely and complement each other. Heartily recommended!

This beer is a clear amber, not pale at all, so it looks like real beer. Aroma is scanty. Flavor is hoppy and zingy with some fruit hints. Very smooth and pleasant, it has a bit of a bite but is not nasty. If you prefer mild ales, you may like this one.

A delight! The rich dark chocolaty color is inviting; head is on the thin side. Aroma is not strong but pleasant, decidedly malty with burnt coffee undertones. The exceptionally rich flavor has strong coffee tones with smoky and nutty elements and just a touch of bitterness. This very enjoyable brew is to be sipped and savored on its own, rather than chugged down or consumed with a meal.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 10

This ale is a dark honey-golden with a reddish cast and a little cloudy. Aroma is mouth-watering - rich and malty, with hints of apple, pear and even banana. Flavor is just as delightfully rich as the aroma, mainly malty with strong hoppy undertone and a touch of fruity sweetness. Finish is zingy and very pleasant. This is probably the best brew I have ever had at Five Seasons.

From the tap, this brew is a rich deep brown, almost black, with a fine-bubbled and persistent head. Aroma is rich and stouty with strong smoky and coffee hints. Taste is strong and stouty, very smoky, coffee and chocolate undertones. Finish is smooth with some bitterness. Excellent, and highly recommended to all stout/porter fans.

Color is a rick dark red-brown with no cloudiness. Aroma is faint but has an interesting metallic hint (well, it is called COPPER head, eh?). Flavor is strongly hoppy, plenty of bitterness, with smoky undertones and a soupcon of metallic. This is a good beer to sip with dinner or stimulating conversation.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

A delicious bock whose dark red-brown color is exceptionally inviting. The smell is not strong, but I don't have an exceptional sniffer. Flavor is strong and hoppy, but not too bitter, with a little nutty undertone. This beer is smooth and tingly, and definitely worth more than a few sips. If ever you are in Atlanta during the spring and this is on tap, do ask for it!

  • 5 Seasons Big Blonde HefeWeizen

A nice translucent honey-golden color with a fairly thick head. Aroma is fairly strong, malty and wheaty. Flavor is typical of a hefeweizen but stronger than most I have tried - pleasantly malty/wheaty, with fruity hints and a suggestion of spice. Finish is smooth and livey. This is a refreshing and summery beer that is very pleasant to sip and enjoy.
