Aroma nicely balances malt and hop components. Color is a clear amber-golden, typical of a pale ale, not much head. Flavor is smooth, malty, just a tad thin, with some hints of hops. A good ale for a laid-back time or with a meal.

Pours a nice opaque dark honey golden with a VERY thick and persistent head - it is thicker than B.S. in Washington and stays better than whipping cream on hot coco. Aroma is strong and mainly malty with a touch of sweetness and a strong hop undertone. Flavor balances hop and malt components, with a little malt sweetness and some hop fruitiness, and a touch of bitter. This is a very drinkable and enjoyable ale.

An above-average beer that even a serious beer connoisseur can enjoy. The color is rich and inviting, and the smell is nice and beery. The taste, though not complex, is impressive. In the mouth it has a jazzy, sassy feel with a little bit of a kick. A truly delicious lager.

An OK amber ale, good for parties and sports events. Color is yellowish rather than amber so it looks more like a citrus soft drink than beer. However, it has a beery smell and a jazzy flavor that is not complex but still tasty. This smooth ale is good for parties and picnics, if all you need is something easy and drinkable.

    Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Pale amber in color, it has a good head but otherwise there is nothing distinctive about its appearance. Taste and smell are about average; it has a bit of a bite but no bitterness. Kirin feels zingy and goes down smoothly, so while it is not a spectacular or distinctive beer, it makes a good companion to a meal or something to sip while watching a game or movie.

This is unlike any beer I have ever tasted, probably because it is brewed with sorghum. It is not radically different from other beers, but it is still distinctive. Redbridge neither looks nor tastes like a product of one of the "big boys," so I was surprised to learn that Anheuser-Busch brews it. The dark amber color is very inviting, and the unique taste has fruity undertones. It has a good bite without being bitter and feels lively on your tongue. I am glad to know that people who must avoid regular beer due to allergies or other medical issues can drink at least one more-than-adequate brewski!

I have no idea what the helium-double-hockey-sticks "organic" is supposed to mean, but that doesn't detract from (or add to) this beer. Wild Hop has an inviting amber color, a little bit of beer smell, and a crisp, simple taste with a touch of bitter. Not superb, but overall a nice beer that is worth a try. Maybe you can bring it to an Earth Day party.

Crisp, tasty, with just a whisper of bitterness - but I like a little nip of bitter in my beer. It has a smooth taste and mouth-feel - not spectacular, but definitely a good brew to sip, or chug. It tastes like a typical American beer but with more depth of flavor and a richer texture.

A decent IPA from North Carolina. I bought this while visiting my uncle in Raleigh. Since I am drinking it warm rather than cold this may affect my ratings and review. This has a strong hoppy and bitter taste, but a smooth "under" taste, and it slides down my pipes well. Not an exceptional beer, but worth knocking back with dinner or while watching a good ball or hockey game.

A nice dark stout with a rich color and very pleasant, stouty smell. The taste is complex, but not heavy and without any bitterness. It sits nicely in the mouth and goes down smooth as velvet and strong as a truck. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves porters and stouts.
