This pours out a nice amber-golden with a good head. Aroma is malty with an apple hint, and not particularly strong. Flavor is hoppy with plenty of bitterness and a strong hint of apple, as well as a good nip of alcohol. Sassy and zingy, this IPA will really get your attention!

Pours a beautiful clear brown-orange with a nice thick head. Aroma is mostly malty, with a hint of spice and a fairly strong, but not alcohol, nip to it. Flavor is rich and zingy; both hops and malt are present, with hints of spices and a whisper of fruit. This ale goes down smooth and crisp but still has an edge to it.

This ale pours a pretty, clear, orangy-brown with a decent head. Aroma is strong, mainly hoppy and spicy, rather inviting. Flavor is rich and hoppy but has minimal bitterness. There is some malt taste and a strong hint of cinnamon. It goes down very tingly and edgy. A lively autumn ale.

Pours a nice, dark, translucent coppery brown with a decent head. Aroma is strong and malty, with overtones of spice. Flavor is rich and lively and mainly malty, and has hints of cloves and cinnamon. There is just a little hop component and minimal bitterness. Leaves a jazzy, pleasant aftertaste.

Definitely the best hefeweissen I have had so far. It looks more like honey than beer, being a rich, almost opaque, slightly orange golden color. Aroma is strong and wheaty, with a strong citrus overtone - but the latter may have come from the obligatory lemon wedge. Flavor is rich, typical of a wheat beer but mouth-filling - no "thin" feeling whatsoever. I got a strong hint of citrus, but again this may have been due to the lemon wedge in the beer. Light, smooth and tingly, this beer is a winner. No wonder they have been in business for almost a millennium!

This beer pours a beautiful, somewhat clear golden amber. It did not have much head, but this could have been a result of the bartender letting it settle. Aroma is strong and malty with a citrus hint. Flavor is rich, mainly malty, with a good hoppy nip and something of an alcohol bite. Aftertaste is smooth but edgy.

It pours a translucent honey-brown with a nice head. Aroma is strong, quite hoppy, with an overtone of pine. Flavor is very hoppy but not overly bitter; there is a strong evergreen element and an undertone of hard apple cider. Thick, smooth, this is a beer for sipping rather than gulping. You have to pay attention to it! Another must for hop nuts.

A must for anybody who is a hops fanatic! Color is a dark honey-golden brown with a tan head that fairly persists. Aroma is strongly hoppy. Taste is VERY hoppy and strongly bitter, not complex. This is one of the hoppiest beers I have ever sampled. It leaves a lingering hop aftertaste.

Beautiful clear brownish-golden, with a medium off-white head. Aroma is mainly malty with spice hints, mainly cloves. Flavor is rich, malty, spicy (again cloves), with some hop bitterness. Zingy, tingly, the hop component dances on the tongue. Prosit!

Pours a rich, clear, dark honey-brown with a thin but somewhat persistent head. Aroma is strong, malty and spicy - I got hints of cloves and cinnamon - with a touch of hops. Flavor is rich, mouth-filling, mainly malty, with spicy undertones. Smooth and very pleasing, this is an excellent autumn beer.
