The beer poured a translucent copper colour with a thin creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was grainy malt, caramel, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is slightly sweet, grainy, with a bitter finish. Tastes very similar to an Oktoberfest. -

The beer poured a beautiful translucent cherry red, with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light fruit, caramel, and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was a perfect balance between the malty sweetness and the hoppy bitterness. Easy to drink! -

I don't know if I didn't 'get' this or what. I was far from impressed (bottle was dated August 2010). It was good, but not great. My first true disappointment. I tried this beer on December 22, 2010 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange in a tulip glass with a half inch tan head and quite a bit of effervescence. The aroma was pine, citrus hops, and some sweet malt hints. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was weak malt, heavy grapefruity hops, but not very well balanced -

The beer poured a black colour with a brown generous head that reduced itself in half in no time before sticking around. The aroma is smoked wood, roasted malt, licorice, and coffee. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is smoked pork, roasted malt, coffee, and some vanilla hints. The smoke flavour lingers in the mouth. -
