The beer poured a translucent brown colour with a loose bubbly brown head that lingers. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour has a nice bitter finish preceded by some caramel tones and yeast, with a sourness. -

The beer poured a translucent dark red with a 1" tan head that lingered. The aroma was dark malt, some caramel, some licorice, and some floral hops. Grainy malt flavour, backed with some caramel hints and hops. I really enjoyed this. -

I tried this beer on October 27, 2010 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy lemonade colour with a thin white bubbly head. The aroma was wheat, grain, citrus, yeast and some weak spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was wheat and spices with a acidic yeast finish. -

The beer poured a solid black with a foamy brown coloured head that lasted throughout. The aroma was dark chocolate, roasted malt. coffee, and molasses. The mouthfeel was full bodied, and creamy with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter dark chocolate, some coffee, lots of roasted malt. This is a huge whallop of chocolate in a beer, maybe too much of a whallop because I'll take the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout over this any day. -

The beer poured a dark golden colour, hazy, with brownish hues. The aroma was very citrsuy hops, some caramel malt, and some pine. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was pink grapefruit, with a little bit of malt. The hoppiest Canadian beer I've tried to date. -

The beer poured a translucent pale gold with plenty of effervescence and a bubbly light tan coloured head that lasted a while. The aroma was floral hops and grainy malt. No sweet caramellish tones to be found. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly creamy with medium carbonation. The flavour is well balanced. Lots of grassy maltiness balanced out by slightly bitter hops. Not as bitter as a lot of German beers, and not as 'sweet' as other Oktoberfests -
