The beer poured a translucent dark gold colour with absolutely no head, although there was quite a bit of effervescence. The aroma is grainy malt, and some weak hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt, bitter hops, and a little acidity.

This is Review #600. Yay me! The beer poured a solid black colour with a long lasting light brown head. The aroma was roasted malt, vanilla, and nuts. The mouthfeel was full bodied, and creamy. The flavour was roasted malt, smoke, and coffee. The whisky appears in the finish.

I tried this beer on tap on February 10, 2011 at "C'est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark blackish-brown, with clear edges, and creamy off-white head that lasted throughout. The aroma was roasted malt, vanilla, and some weak hops. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, roasted malt, and vanilla. Sweet, but not sickingly so. Very refreshing and drinkable.

The beer poured a cloudy pale gold colour with a huge frothy white head. The aroma was banana, citrus, and a nice smokiness that lingered. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly creamy, with mild carbonation. The flavour was wheat malt, smoke, and a touch of sweetness.
