Poured a brown colour with red highlights. The medium lasting head left thin bubbly lacing. Smoked hickory nose with hints of molasse. Tasted exactly what it should... smoky ! Mildly carbonated medium mouthfeel. To be enjoyed very slowly.

Sampled from one of their very beautiful 500ml bottle (with hops embossed in it). Poured a nice golden-amber colour with a creamy off-white head that left a thick foamy head. The majority of smell is malt, with a hint of fruits. The mouth starts off very creamy, then leads into a world of bitterness, to then finish on a smooth level. An awesome ale with character !

Sampled from 500ml can. Poured a pale golden colour with a foamy head and some moderate lacing. Peeeww ! Then, all hell breaks loose. Smelt hints of hot piss (and malt). Not much carbonation. Quite watery, much prefer Coors Light over this one.

Poured a deep amber colour with a beautiful creamy beige head that settled quickly. Left a small amount of lacing. Smelt malty with hints of molasse and tuna (yes... tuna - I know that does not sound pleasant, but it did not ruin the nose). The flavour was matly caramel / coffee with a smooth bitter start and a dry finish. Beats the hell out of Newcastle's english brown ale.

My third St. Peter's experience. Poured a clean orange-amber colour with an off-white head. Left a good amount of lacing, but this brew had no visual carbonation. The nose was hoppy, but also very hard to pin-point exactly what it was... maybe hay. Taste was smooth at start and then finished with a bitter aftertaste. Could not taste the 6.5% alcohol, could only feel it in my head (after having a few beers previously). Again, St. Peter's has a brew that is very special.

Sampled from a 500ml can. Poured a light golden colour with a thick creamy-bubbly head leaving a nice foamy lacing. Great retention. Lightly carbonated and had a mild grassy hop nose. Crisp and smooth. Very mild hop taste shaped a weak mouthfeel. Actually, almost tastes nothing. Good thing for the beautiful appearance (head). Other then that, a great beer for those who hate the taste of beer.

This is the first Indian beer I have ever tried. After this one, I will have a Kingfisher Premium Lager... to compare. Says "Slow brewed for the Connoisseur" on the top label. Poured a golden-yellow colour with a good foamy head that created nice lacing, as the head went down, slowly, but always topped the brew. Good amount of carbonation. Grassy and malty aromas. Light mouthfeel and crisp. Flavours were matly with grassy hops. Not bad at all, but let's try the Kingfisher.

Poured a light golden colour with a head that faded to nothing very quickly and no lacing. Skunky nose and mildly malty. Sour taste with a dry aftertaste. I prefer the Menabrea Birra for an Italian lager. A good alternative to Heineken though.

Pours a golden-yellow colour with a white head. Light carbonation, head settles down quickly enough. O.K. Some lacing. Aromas are very mild, almost non-existing. So is the taste. Much prefered the Taj Mahal that this brewery does (both premium lagers). Also, this one comes in a green bottle, the Taj, in a brown. Refreshing as water.

Second Portuguese beer of the night, the other being "Sagres". This one poured a pale golden colour with a shortly fading foamy head, and a bit of lacing. The brew is lightly carbonated with mild aromas of hops and malts. Crisp start with bitterness and a dry finish. Even though both beers were o.k., I will stick to Port as this countries finest drink.
