Yes, I am a fan of fruit beers. This one poured a very dark red colour (opaque black when trying to see through), with a deep tanned head. Aromas were of raspberries (of course) with hints of chocolate, and a creamy nose. Oh yeah ! Tasted very good. Raspberries mixed with coffee. Very well-balanced, and very smooth with a mild bitter/sour aftertaste. Thick mouthfeel. This brew is awesome, just heavy on the alcohol - meaning you can't drink to many of these in a day. Oh well, there's always tomorrow !

Read bad things about this beer. Poured a hazy copper-red colour with a quick dissipating head. Not much carbonation. Had aromas of sweet malts, apples and hints of vinegar. The mouth was of caramels with a dry aftertaste. Flat mouthfeel. I actually enjoyed this one, even after the bad hype.

Sampled from the 500ml brown bottle you see in the pictures above. Poured a coffee colour with orange-ruby highlights. The head was short lasting but the lacing was very nice. Aromas were of toffee and roasted malts. The taste was smoked mixed in with coffee and caramel. The start being sweet, but changing very fast into a bitter and then slight bitter, aftertaste. This porter goes down very well with its smooth mouthfeel and low carbonation. Very refreshing for this style of beer, and not too heavy.

This beer is said to be a spicy buckwheat one. It also has coriander in it. It poured a hazy amber-orange colour with a lot of carbonation. The thicker head dissapeared fairly quickly to form a thin one, for the remaining of the drinking experience. I could see lots of sediments floating around, and bigger ones hitting the bottom. Yeasty nose and hints of many spices. Taste also proves good with the spices, starting of with a sour taste and finishing with a dry smoothness. This is one of the better beers we can find here (province of Quebec) in the convenient stores. I like it !!!

Says that this beer won more than 70 awards, on the label. Poured a light golden colour with a big white foamy head that lasted. Very good lacing. This brew was slightly hazy from the small amount of natural sediment that escaped the bottom of the bottle. Aromas are malty at first, but as the beer breathes, aromas turn to hop. Taste is mildly bitter yeast with hints of lemon. The body is thin, carbonation is medium and finish is dry. I've heard great things about this beer, but for me it just does not do it.

Sampled from a 330ml brown bottle. Poured a dark amber-ruby with a foamy head that did not last long and pretty much no lacing. Aromas were of sweet caramel malts and molasse, with the alcohol (being a high alcohol content). Taste were rich in malts, caramel, dates and other fruits. This brew had hardly any carbonation, and you could not taste the alcohol. Had a syrupy mouthfeel. This, being one of my first Dopplebock, is a pretty good experience, but I still am a lover of their white beer.

Tried this one on tap at the Black Tomato in Ottawa. Poured a slight hazy amber colour with a nice head and very good lacing. The nose was of floral hops and sweet malts. Taste started off like a Creemore Spring (delicious - medium floral sweetness) and finished with a very, very bitter aftertaste. Full-bodied mouthfeel. This is the most bitter beer I have ever tasted... and that's just great !

This brew is the base body of all other fruity Ephemere (without any fruit). It poured a hazy orange-brown colour with a frothy off-white head. As the head dissapeared slowly, a layer of foam was left. The colour is darker then all other Ephemeres. Aromas were of yeast, Belgium sweet malts and spices. The mouth was on the sour side with a slight bitter aftertaste. Had a huge amount of carbonation. This is a great beer a-la-Belgium-Ale-style.

Sampled from a 500ml clear bottle. The first time I tried this beer, I felt like puking. That was over 10 years ago, when my tastes buds were FA. Now, I can finally enjoy this English Ale. Poured an amber colour with a light tan head that gave some good creepy lacing. The nose was of tart and caramel. Tasted pretty close to the aromas, sweet floral mixed in with some sourness, and hints of fruits. The mouthfeel was smooth with some bitterness. Glad I tried that one again.

Sampled from a 500ml brown bottle. Poured a golden colour with a white head, but no lacing and a fast exit. Aromas were of grassy hops with a hint of malt. Taste was a good balance of hop and malt. Had a thin mouthfeel with a smooth finish (with slight bitterness). Medium carbonation. A well balanced refreshing Czech Pilsner.
